Horse Fest
The yearly Horse Festival hosts various horseback riding and racing activities at Clark Freeport Zone. The event features rodeo exhibition, horse shows, trade fair & carnival, a concert, fashion show, marathon and fireworks display. In cooperation with Department of Tourism, Philippine Tourism Association, Mad Dog Motorcycle Club and other local tourism councils, the Horse Fest aims to promote horse riding as a form of sport.

Lenten Rites

Witness practice of deep faith and devotion on Good Friday (occurs around the first week of April) as 5 to 10 people take a vow of penitence by actually having themselves nailed on the cross. The procession is an annual Holy Week re-enactment of Christ’s Passion and Death.

Giant Sisig Festival

A visit to Pampanga is incomplete without a Sisig experience. This traditional Pampanga dish is made of chopped pigs ears and cheeks cooked with vinegar and spices. Normally held during the month of December. the Sisig festival commemorates the culinary expertise of the Kapampangans. It is also usually accompanied by beauty pageants, parades and concerts for added entertainment.

Mt. Arayat National Park
The majestic mountain has lots to offer for a vacationing family. Hike to the waterfalls, swim in any of the park’s three large swimming pools or be one with nature and try the natural spring waters. For the more adventurous types, a 3-4 hour climb is needed to reach the top. But be reminded: there are no trails near the peak so it’s more fun to bring company.
